My Day at the North Pole

(All photos courtesy of the Internet.)

Me, Teeter, and Harley Girl met up at 8:00 a.m. here:

Approximately $500 and 2 1/2 hours later, we needed a snack:

And a thirst quencher for the road:

And then headed here:

But we had about a half-hour of this:

Hours of shopping there resulted in this:

And a much-needed this:

Rejuvenated, we tackled this:

With a quick stop in here:

And success for me in here:

We then moved on to here:

And quickly slid in and out of here:

Wearing down, we headed in here:

No trip to the North Pole is complete without a trip to the local junk, I mean salvage store:

Exhausted, we called it a day and headed back to reality. We never made it to here:

or here:

nor here:

or here:

or even here for BOG2 shrimp:

Once home, after feeding the troops this:
(for Squirt)

(for Scooby)

(for Papa Bear)

I had a little bit of this:

And washed it down with this:

A day full of fun! This MUST become a tradition! And with that thought, I'm off to bed!

We Must Be Crazy

So, Squirt decided it would be a good idea to get up at 3:30 this morning to see the meteorite shower. Did you even know there was going to be a meteorite shower? I didn't think so. Anyway, me, Squirt, and Scooby got up a little after 3:30 and trudged out to the patio to see what we could see. It really was a beautiful night (morning!) to see stars, but we didn't last long. It was cold outside. Scooby came in after about 3 minutes. I didn't blame her. I was secretly ready to go in too, but I wasn't going to leave Squirt out there in the wild. I did see one shortly after, then I was ready to go in. After about 5 or 6 more minutes, Squirt announced he was going back to bed, so I followed suite. So, between the 3 of us, we saw one. I'm sure I'm going to be a zombie today -- but I wouldn't trade these middle of the night meetings with my babies for anything in the world. It's worth it!
