Look at those faces - pure delight! I forgot to take my traditional picture of them eating breakfast, but I did get this one (as well as a decent one minus the goofy faces!). I fixed them bacon, eggs, and toast this morning, so I think that got the morning off to a good start.
Then tonight, I was gently reminded that now that they are back in school and packing a lunch every day, they need some apple bread to take for snack. So, being the good mother that I am, I baked them a loaf of apple bread. But, of course, smelling it bake for an hour, we all had to have a piece as soon as it came out of the oven. Here it is after we each had a slice.
It's half gone! Guess I'll be baking more later this week. Squirt has to have his apple bread.
